Industrial Clients

Our group has been helping industrial clients to reduce their energy consumption and operating costs for more than 30 years. We offer these services through the following programs:
Industrial Assessment Center
Through the U.S. Department of Energy's IAC program, we provide no-cost energy and resource assessments for small to midsized manufacturing facilities in New England. Our team of engineers reviews your utility bills and spends a day on-site, and then we provide a confidential report recommending cost-effective measures to improve energy efficiency, reduce pollution and waste, and lower operating costs in your facility. Learn about the program, eligibility criteria, and success stories on our IAC page.
Northeast Combined Heat and Power Technical Assistance Partnership
Combined heat and power (CHP), also known as cogeneration, is a highly efficient approach to generating electric power and useful thermal energy from a single fuel right at the point of use. With funding from the U.S. Department of Energy, we offer no-cost screenings, technical assistance, economic analysis, and expert advice to help determine if CHP is a good fit for sites throughout New England and New York. Learn more at northeastchptap.org.
Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Partnership
MAEEP is a training program that supports deployment of energy efficiency technologies and tools to the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors by offering technical training workshops in Massachusetts. Learn more and see our upcoming training schedule at maeep.org.
Green Your Bottom Line in Food and Beverage Businesses
CEERE is a partner with other UMass programs and government agencies in this initiative to promote and support energy and environmental measures that can reduce operating costs in food and beverage businesses. Learn more about this initiative and upcoming workshops at ceere.org/food.
